Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.
Anybody with usefull info to dublin please contribute! thanks.
- West Dublin TOD info - <bart.gov/docs/planning/WEST%20DUBLIN.pdf>
The article states that the city council approved the building of an IKEA despite the fact that residents do not want it built. Were there public hearings or some sort of vote? Without a reference, that statement sounds like opinion.
I'm sorry if it's a big no no, but I edited that to make it not in Headline form.
As for my response, you don't live in Dublin, do you? There was a lot of outcry down here about the things, I.E petitions and meetings and shit. Though I have no idea if there was an official city council forum. Lettuceclock 22:21, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Valley Christian
[edit]Lori Cantrell is Vice Principal of the elementary school, not principal of the school.
- What's your reasoning for calling VCS an "elite prep" school? To my knowledge it is neither elite nor a prepatory school. - Walkiped 21:26, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- So the school does claim to be a prep school [1], but until we can somehow back up the "elite" claim I'm striking it from the article. - Walkiped 03:07, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Civic boosterism
[edit]This article is dominated by civic boosters, who have been putting civic pride ahead of encyclopedic content. I don't see any mention of Santa Rita Jail in this article, as an example.(mercurywoodrose)76.245.45.179 (talk) 07:41, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
This whole article reeks of boosterism and NPOV propaganda. I've been to Dublin, it's just not that impressive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.127.180.83 (talk) 12:32, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
