[edit]"Japan welcomed them as..." suffices. --Nanshu 04:32, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Then what the hell is this 'Bohai assumed.. '?
In the diplomatic document, Da Wuyi titled himself as the official rank which was given by the Tang Emperor. And he treated the Emperor of Japan as a king under Tang's suzerainty. But actually, Japan didn't accepted Tang's suzerainty but behaved as "little China" who ruled "barbarians" surrounding Japan. After a series of negotiations, Bohai accepted Japan's logic. Bohai chose substance rather than reputation. --Nanshu 04:10, 13 Mar 2004 (UTC)
what is this 'tributary' tag in front of Goguryeo? Do you really think this is an appropriate word to describe the relation between Goguryeo and Japan? LoL.
Again, that's what Japanese officials thought. You can clarify the context, but don't delete it! --Nanshu 04:12, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Shouldn't we rename this page to King Wu of Bohai and/or King Mu of Balhae? Bohai-related pages are currently in Mandarin, so it'd be okay to move Da Wuyi to King Wu of Bohai. -- Caffelice 16:35, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Among 15 kings of Bohai, 6 kings' posthumous names are unknown or did not exist. I'd like to keep the current scheme and make "{posthumous name} of Bohai" redirects. --Nanshu 07:57, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)
