Sudden Death Participation
[edit]Can anyone find any back sources that claim that the players for the Chiefs and Nailers were used in the movie Sudden Death? The Wikipedia article for Sudden Death (film) states that they came from the defunct Cleveland Lumberjacks and comes with citations.--Pennsylvania Penguin (talk) 13:22, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Notable Nailers
[edit]There isn't really a clear standard of notability. I suggest changing it to a list of former Nailers that made it to the NHL.Saunders1407 (talk) 16:17, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Main Rival
[edit]Well, since the Johnstown Chiefs are now the Greenville Road Warriors, I no longer think they would qualify as the main rival. Any ideas on which team to replace them with? Cincinnati? Toledo? Ap William (talk) 22:41, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'd say "none." It's not precisely an issue on which a vote can be taken and a new one elected. Ravenswing 02:29, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Wheeling/Johnstown
[edit]Does anybody know why Johnstown (or any city, for that matter) was used as an "alternate venue" for the Nailers? Was this an exploratory move (i.e. the team wanted to move out of Wheeling)? Was Wesbanco just unavailable? I think maybe the article should touch upon that, if possible. I know I'm unclear. YellowAries2010 (talk) 15:32, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
