Is there any good reason this shouldn't be part of Transylvania, the only page which links to it? Andy Mabbett 23:23, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I agree. --Apoc2400 21:52, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The main Transylvania article is long already - isn't it better to create more relvant links here ?

Appending this to the Transylvania article would be a mistake for a few reasons; first of all, the Transylvania article is long already; secondly, the "Transylvania" used most often in fiction is just a name with vaguely Stokeresque connotations and has absolutely nothing to do with the real historical region, so adding it to a serious article on the history, geography and culture of the real Transylvania will only confuse a great number of people and annoy a great many more. I think this page is a fine idea; it keeps the "serious" and "popular" notions of "Transylvania" nicely separated and doesn't trouble fans of Dracula with the Long War or fans of Báthory Endre with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. If we decide the article should be deleted, it should certainly not be appended to the main Transylvania article. Hubacelgrand (talk) 01:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"!"?

[edit]

"In animation:Transylvania is !'s residence. This links to the article about the punctuation mark, while ! (disambiguation) does not mention any animated characters named "!". Unless some context is given, this bullet point makes no sense. Fishal (talk) 17:47, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
