An article about an AIR article which is funny, but not noteable enough to be encyclopædia article. Must we have an article for every funny scientific report which has appeared in the Annals of Improbable Research or the Journal of Irreproducible Results? (And I'm speaking as someone who has himself authored a number of AIR articles.) —Psychonaut 18:57, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete (and maybe incorporate the contents into AIR if someone thinks they're worth keeping) -- Schnee 19:04, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Sufficiently funny (and with a point) -- William M. Connolley 19:27, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC).

- Delete. The AIR article itself made me laugh out loud, twice. But a Wikipedia article about an AIR article?
That would be as silly as having an entire article about every episode ofThat would be silly. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 23:18, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC) - Delete: An article about an article would be
as bad as writing an article about a joke on tonight's SNL or a character in this week's Star Treka little too removed from the world, unless this article actually changed the world in some way. Geogre 01:21, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC) - Delete. When you must read such crap as a TA at Uni it becomes deeply unfunny. Pilatus 01:27, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- (That's why you keep a cuttings book of the best unintended humor from students, like I did for 8 years. "Diet is very important to people on diets." "The south is great! Just look where it's located." "Death is an experience everyone encounters at some point in their life." "Lines 3-7 show God to be a very important character in the poem." - Delete: nonnotable. Wile E. Heresiarch 05:43, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, has potential to become encyclopedic. It also seems notable enough to be verifiable, if thats your thing. —siroχo 09:10, Oct 31, 2004 (UTC)
- Not a vote, as I created the article: I thought the paper was minor but notorious. It's way more famous than most AIR papers. All content is verifiable - David Gerard 12:21, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Weak keap. Can serve as an example of typical AIR content. jni 15:38, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not notable on its own, could be incorporated into AIR as an example. --Nought 15:50, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- ditch it include as an example under AIR, or toss it into a collection for silly articles that have been deleted [is there such a collection somewhere? if not there should be] BigFatDave 09:17, 5 Nov 2004 (UTC)
