Howdy! Welcome to WikiProject Texas! Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to the U.S. state of Texas. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there. Goals   To improve the quality and quantity of Texas related articles, as exemplified by the featured articles Ike Altgens; 2005 Texas Longhorns football team; and Texas Revolution. To present a holistic view of Texas rather than the view of one region of Texas. To make Wikipedia one of the premier online resources on Texas. Contribute to the Texas portal. Scope   This WikiProject aims primarily to expand Wikipedia's resources on Texas and present Texas in a fair and accurate manner. Project statistics   As of 1 November 2024, there are 31,510 articles within the scope of WikiProject Texas, of which 86 are featured and 328 are good articles. This makes up 0.46% of the articles on Wikipedia, 0.77% of all featured articles and lists, and 0.81% of all good articles. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etc., there are 94,310 pages in the project.
