[edit]Nicholas Alkemade
[edit]See article in Reader's Digest July 1958 "I Fell 18,000 Feet and Lived" by Nicolas Stephen Alkemade, ex-Warrant Officer, Royal Air Force. 71.167.156.22 22:26, 22 April 2007 (UTC)D.M. DeCain (d.decain@att.net)
Last sentence
[edit]"He was later released". Well, it seems unlikely that he'd still have been a POW in Germany by the time he died in 1987, so this would only be remarkable if he was released still during the war. Is that the case? Otherwise, the sentence should be changed or deleted. athinaios 15:15, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Nicholas Alkemade - the image is not him
[edit]Hi all you Wikifolk. I am the grandson of Nichlas Alkemade and the image used on his wiki page is not of him, the chap pictured wears an E for engineer.
Unfortunately his likeness has been perpetuated and i need the image to be changed to one of him, my grandfather Nicholas Alkemade.
Please please please can you help?
Best wishes,
Luke Alkemade Lukealkemade (talk) 21:48, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
