I am a physicist who currently works in theoretical chemistry, but I obtained my PhD by doing a thesis in theoretical particle physics. So I am qualified in molecular and atomic as well as in particle physics (and a bit nuclear physics), including a good knowledge of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum field theory. I'm also very interested in astronomy, especially cosmology, and think that I am also qualified to participate in discussions about these topics.

Other interests which may be relevant to Wikipedia are the history of science and the creation/evolution controversy (I was a regular contributor to the newsgroup talk.origins) - and skepticism in general.

I consider myself to be a secular humanist.
