- I noticed. Yay. ^_^ This article needed and still needs work, but I see no reason for it to be deleted; such a large forum is not an unimportant subject. -- Slowking Man 02:33, Jul 1, 2004 (UTC)
Under the circumstances, I would have to agree. But what would you recommend in order to avoid deleting the entry? Significant reconfiguration of descriptions, or...?
Interesting. I'm new here and I was just about to recommend this for vfd. What a useless article. Is there a source for the statement that it's one of the most popular english-speaking forums on the net? Different criteria schews that notion; registered members says nothing of active members, unique visits, etc. "Neko Neko Wai" came from a Japanese Chu-Chu-Rocket commercial (and was probably already in ubiquitous use by Japanese cat-lovers), not Megatokyo. Perhaps Megatokyo's community of loyal followers can have mention in a section of the Megatokyo article, not as an article for themselves. They've contributed nothing of an encyclopedic nature. --Psients 09:39, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Well, pageview counts indicate thousands of visits per day. I don't know, these guys certainly aren't as important as the Something Awful forums, but they're still pretty big. Even if they haven't done anything notable yet, there's a good chance they'll do something notable in the future. This article isn't obviously unencyclopedic: when in doubt, keep. --Shibboleth 08:16, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Come to think of it though, merging with Megatokyo wouldn't be a bad idea, since that article is pretty short anyway. Go ahead and do it if you want to. --Shibboleth 08:18, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
