The two-judge district court panel in this case was convened under a law, since repealed, which mandated this procedure when the constitutionality of a state statute was challeged and the complainants sought injunctive relief against its enforcement. That law was repealed, in the 80s, IIRC. Anyone know? Ellsworth 14:48, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Has it ever been revealed who "Mary Doe" really is?24.60.124.8 21:40, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Her name is Sandra Cano. She is currently suing to have Doe v Bolton overturned on the grounds that her ACLU attorney committed fraud in the case and pressured her to have an abortion.[http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52210] TMLutas 21:45, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Or more accurately, Cano claims she was Mary Doe. 75.76.213.106 (talk) 19:43, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial Quote

[edit]

Under "Broad Definition of Health", the reference for the quote "at least as controversial as its holding respecting the period prior to viability" is to a blog that no longer exists. Can someone find a better reference for the controversial nature of this definition of health? Aardvark92 (talk) 16:41, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Link Loops Back to This Same Article

The anonymous plaintiff has since been identified as Sandra Cano, a 22-year-old mother of three . . .

The name Sandra Cano is a link that links right back to this article. The link should be removed or directed to an actual article about Sandra Cano. 76.0.11.74 (talk) 00:43, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
